Dr. Tim Maciag

Dr. Tim Maciag is a 2021 President’s Teaching scholar and lecturer in software systems engineering at the University of Regina. He is the coordinator of the “Humanity-Centred Computer Systems Engineering (HCCSE) Graduate & Undergraduate Projects & Research Lab (GUPRL)” at the university, which emphasizes research and technological exploration within the guidelines of the United Nation’s (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Research in the HCCSE-GUPRL is currently focused on UN SDG#3: good health and well-being (eHealth/care homes and long-term care experiences) and UN SDG#4: Quality Education (course-integrated experiential learning opportunities in STEAM fields to support (local) community and non-profit technology-based initiatives).
