Young students campus helps friend catching up and learning

The CTL offers classroom observations for faculty and instructors hoping to improve their teaching practice. These confidential observations are intended to provide faculty and staff with valuable feedback on which to build the foundation for future teaching. Observations may be structured to provide general advice and feedback or may be targeted to a specific aspect of classroom practice (e.g., assessment, use of technology, Indigenization, etc.).

Prior to the observation, the CTL member will schedule a meeting to discuss the observation process, focus, and schedule the observation(s). After the observation, the CTL member will schedule a second meeting to provide the instructors with a written observation report and discuss the findings and provide recommendations for improvement. If desired, the CTL can provide letters detailing the process that may be used as evidence for tenure and promotion applications.

If you would like to arrange for a classroom observation, please contact our staff at ctl@uregina.ca.
