The University of Regina provides funding for the development of open educational resources (OER) for use courses delivered across the University. The Government of Saskatchewan has been providing funding for this purpose since 2015. Since that time, a number of OER have been developed by faculty within the University of Regina. A listing of these can be found on the OER Publishing Program site. This page also includes the projects currently under development.

In August 2020, the OER Program started a subscription to the Pressbooks OER development platform. This platform allows any faculty or staff to search for and easily adapt OER created in Pressbooks. The Pressbooks Directory can be used to search for OER across a global Pressbooks network. Resources developed locally can also be shared across these same networks. Any faculty or staff member can get free access to the University of Regina’s Pressbooks instance by sending a request to open.textbooks@uregina.ca.

The following list provides some useful Pressbooks resources currently available for use by members of the University community. They are linked to their location in the University of Regina Pressbooks Catalogue.
