One of the core functions of the CTL is the offering of one-on-one consultations for faculty and staff who are hoping to improve some aspect of their pedagogical practice. These consultations are structured as informal conversations with a member of the CTL’s team, where faculty/staff members may identify their goals, assess their current practices, and discuss future pathways and areas for improvement. One-on-one consultations may address a wide range of teaching-related concerns. Some common topics for consultations include the following:
- Course design
- Integration of academic technologies
- Planning for accessibility, diversity, and inclusion
- Creating diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments
- Planning for Indigenization
If you need support for any of the above topics or need other teaching and learning support, please contact our staff at ctl@uregina.ca.
