The CTL offers support for faculty members who would like to develop their teaching dossiers. A teaching dossier is a document that summarizes and provides evidence of an academic’s accomplishments related to teaching and learning. Teaching dossiers may be electronic or paper-based and can demonstrate both current practices and growth in the area of teaching. These dossiers may be used to: support personal and professional reflection and growth related to one’s teaching; support the application process for attaining academic positions; support the processes of reappointment, tenure, and promotion (career progression); and support the application process for teaching awards, grants, and other recognition
If you would like assistance in the construction of your own teaching dossier, or if you would like the CTL to provide a teaching dossier workshop for your department/faculty, please contact our staff at ctl@uregina.ca.
