Dr. Alex Oehler is the 2022 University of Regina President’s Award for Teaching Excellence recipient. In his time in the Department of Anthropology, Dr. Oehler has demonstrated a passion for pedagogy that impresses students and colleagues alike. His students appreciate his engaging teaching style, which incorporates field trips, opportunities to connect with future employers, and the chance to participate in authentic research processes; several former students note that Dr. Oehler’s classes have inspired a deep interest in anthropology.
