Welcome to My Remote Course With Dr. Jacqueline Fields

Dr. Jacqueline Fields is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Regina. A passionate educator, her teaching interests include anti-racist approaches, diversity studies, ethics, field education, and social policy. She firmly believes that higher education transforms every aspect of students’ lives, enabling them to, in turn, transform the society.
Dr. Fields actively engages in mentorship activities and focuses heavily on supporting Sessional Instructors in the Faculty of Social Work. Her 2022 President’s Teaching Scholars Award has allowed her to intentionally promote and advance mentorship practices at the University of Regina.
The Lecturer’s educational background includes a BSW from the University of the West Indies, Barbados; an MBA from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom; and a Ph.D. from the University of Calgary, Canada.
