GTEC is a half-day course offered by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research and the Center for Teaching and Learning. It is designed to prepare Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTAs) for their roles and to enhance their overall graduate experience while benefiting undergraduate students’ learning experiences. The course supports the university’s commitment to providing quality education and ensuring all students have a positive and enriching learning experience. The course focuses on high-quality teaching techniques, grading, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. Participants will also receive resources and guidance on integrating technology and innovative teaching methods to align with the teaching and learning vision of the University of Regina.
