The President’s Teaching and Learning Scholars Program supports outstanding faculty members who have demonstrated a strong commitment to teaching and learning in their own practice, as well as a desire to promote teaching and learning excellence within their faculties and across the institution.
Scholars develop, implement, and evaluate a teaching and learning-related initiative that helps inform programs and practices at the University of Regina and improves the learning experience of students.
President’s Teaching and Learning Scholars serve for a period of two years. Each Scholar is eligible for up to $5,000 in research or project funding over the two-year term to support initiatives related to the program.
The current program focus is generative AI in teaching and learning.
