CTL, CCE-FL Instructional Design Consultation
The Centre for Teaching and Learning and Flexible Learning (FL) at the CCE, are pleased to announce a joint initiative offering 30-minute pedagogical consultations with Darrel Lawlor, Instructional Designer at Flexible Learning. One on one consultations will be available on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 – 4:30 pm, beginning March 18th, 2026, and continuing until December 18th, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
This service provides instructional design and pedagogical support for academic staff teaching in any delivery mode, with the exception of online and blended courses already being developed with DDL funding. Areas of support include, but are not limited to:
- Review of UR Courses layout, navigation, and overall readability
- Recommendations for effective use of UR Courses tools (e.g. H5P Interactive Content) and functionalities to enhance learner engagement and collaboration
- Guidance on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and accessibility
- Advice on assessment design, including GenAI integration and exam/quiz considerations
