OER Search Assistance Service
Are you interested in adopting Open Educational Resources into your course, but haven’t found the time to look?
Use the Open Educational Resources Search Assistance Request Form to save time and effort searching for Open Educational Resources (OER) for your course as we will do the searching for you!
The Open Education and Publishing Program provides support to faculty and instructors with incorporating Open Educational Resources into their course materials.
By filling and submitting the Open Educational Resources Search Assistance Request Form (which involves uploading your course’s outline/syllabus, reading list, and additional information), the OEP program will conduct a search and you will receive a curated list of OER options to choose from for your course/s that match the needs and learning objectives of your course. You, as the subject expert, will then review and evaluate the potential OERs to adopt into your course. If adopted, your chosen OER can either replace existing course materials or be added as an additional resource for your students. The OEP Program can offer guidance for the adoption and adaptation of materials.
This service is available to all University of Regina faculty, instructors, and lecturers assigned to teach a course.
If a course is brand new and does not have a syllabus yet, the OEP Program can work with those developing the course to find open educational resources (OER) that match their needs as well.
