If you are passionate about adopting, adapting or creating open educational resources (OER) and would like to meet twice per term with others who are also passionate about open educational practices,

You are invited to join the University of Regina Open Education Community of Practice (UROE CoP).

According to Wenger-Trayner (2015), “Communities of practice are groups of people who share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly.”

The OEP Program is facilitating the gathering of University of Regina faculty and instructors for in-person lunches approximately twice per term. Gatherings are informal opportunities to eat together, to ask questions of others, and to share knowledge about experiences with open educational practices or OER projects and plans.

Email open.textbooks@uregina.ca to have your name added to the UROE CoP membership list.
